A weak upper wave is dropping SE over NWRN sections of the state
early this Thu morning...with some isolated/scattered pockets of
rain noted over WRN sections of the state. Have mentioned some low
end POPs for this activity over the next several hrs. This upper
wave will weaken as it drops generally S/SE this morning...with the
potential for precip decreasing further.
For today into the weekend...an upper ridge to the west will
expand...eventually drifting east over AR this weekend. This will
result in continued warming and more of the persistent dry forecast
into the upcoming weekend. Highs will warm well above normal in the
90s for most locations...though some ares may approach the 100 deg
mark. Lows will be mainly in the 60s...with some low 70s possible
for some sites.
There may be some slight relief going into next week as hgts aloft
slowly decrease. However...above normal conditions are expected to
continue. Precip chances will also remain low as well.

VFR condns are expected thru the PD, w/ regional satellite imgry
showing diurnal Cu dissipating. Short term guidance has been
indicative of some patchy fog acrs Cntrl to SWrn AR, mainly
impacting HOT/ADF thru 12Z Fri mrng, though confidence remains low
of more impactful VISBY restrictions attm. Light and variable
winds wl prevail overnight, w/ Srly to Erly winds resuming over
the FA Fri.
