Somewhat drier conditions can be expected through this weekend as
moisture decreases in the region in response to the aforementioned
ridge progressing east. Chances will return beginning early next
week as we embark on a persisting pattern with shortwaves tracking
through the region. As onshore flow returns to the region so will
the moisture allowing for a low to medium (25-50%) chance for
showers and thunderstorms each day.
We will also continue to monitor the potential for minor coastal
flooding due to a persisting southeasterly fetch during high tide
periods. P-ETSS was indicating seas will be around 2 ft MSL
beginning today and continue through next week. This setup in the
past has led to wave run up at the beaches, so we will definitely
keep an eye on this.

VFR conditions are expected throughout this TAF cycle with only a low
to medium chance for MVFR conditions across LRD and COT for low
ceilings and VCT and ALI for patchy fog early this morning. Winds
will become gusty this afternoon before becoming light and variable
once again overnight tomorrow.

Expect east to southeasterly moderate breeze conditions during
the day and gentle breeze conditions during the overnight periods
through the middle of next week. There will be low chances for
showers and thunderstorms through the remainder of the weekend, though
this will increase to a low to medium chance (20-50%) beginning
Monday. Seas will generally range from 3 to 5 feet.
