- Dry conditions have taken hold of the region and this trend
   will continue into the foreseeable future
- Temperatures will gradually warm back into the lower to mid 90s
   by the middle of the week
- Despite returning to the lower to mid 90s, dewpoints will
   remain low enough that it shouldn`t feel miserable

No major changes to the forecast over the next 7 days. Current
upper-air analysis shows a trough over the eastern CONUS and a
ridge building in the southwest CONUS. As we move through the
week, this ridge will only gradually push eastward and take hold
of our region. As a result, temperatures will increase a degree or
two each day through Wednesday, returning to the lower and mid 90s
by Thursday and then these temperatures will continue into the
weekend. Another important factor of this building ridge, we
appear to be dry with no rain chances in the forecast for the next
7 days.
The only saving grace to our "false fall" departing and our next
round of early summer is that our dewpoints will remain low enough
that it shouldn`t feel miserable outside. Will it still be hot,
yes, but will it be unbearably hot? I don`t think so. I think the
temperature will feel the way it reads this week. And that`s it.

For the ArkLaTex terminals, VFR throughout this cycle with NE winds
light at night and 5-15KT by mid morning and all afternoon. Fair
skies and dry weather will last all week. Aloft, our winds keep NE
for climb and back to N/NW for FL150-FL30 at 20-50KT respectively.
