Four persons drowned, and two others suffered injury, as three couples attempted to cross Mills Stone Creek at Echols Mill in their automobile. Sheep Springs (Navajo: Tó Hałtsooí) is a census-designated place (CDP) in San Juan County, New Mexico, United States. The population was 237 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Farmington Metropolitan Statistical Area.
