/This Afternoon through Wednesday/
A benign weather regime persists across North and Central Texas
today with temperatures a few degrees below normal. After a cool
start this morning (DFW dropped to 63 degrees for the second
morning in a row, Waco to 59 degrees), highs will climb into the
mid and upper 80s regionwide underneath sunny skies.
Temperatures on Wednesday will generally be 3 to 5 degrees warmer
versus today as heights nudge upward from the upper level ridge
starting to influence the region. Although highs will be in the
low to mid 90s, feels-like temps will still be very close to the
actual temperature from the drier air in place, so it should
be another pleasant day on Wednesday.

A ridge of high pressure will begin to build across West Texas,
eventually migrating to the east through the rest of the week.
This will keep all precipitation chances at bay, as well as
continue to gradually drive afternoon temperatures up. Highs will
be in the lower to mid 90s each afternoon with clear skies in
place. Overnight temperatures will be in the upper 60s to lower
70s through the weekend.
